As of today, I will not be accepting repair and restoration work or orders for bamboo and fiberglass flyrods. My focus will be on finishing the work that is in the shop. When this is complete, I will be concentrating on the building of bamboo and fiberglass flyrods. The new rods and some restored rods will be posted for sale on my website as they become available. If, for any reason , you are not satisfied, please let me know as soon as possible so I can make the item available to the next person. Return the item in the condition it was received for a full refund (minus shipping charges). All payments should be in U.S. funds, postal money orders are preferred method of payment. Personal checks are acceptable, but they must clear before item is shipped. All check and money orders should be payable to Francis D. Lyons.
Shipping charges will be determined at time of order (to cover actual costs only). Items will be shipped through U.S. Postal Service, UPS or FedEx unless otherwise requested. All special shipping requests, custom fees, tariffs.. etc. are the responsibility of the buyer.
I make every effort to identify any defects and pass that information on to the buyer. If a shortcoming does get past me or I misrepresent an item, it is unintentional and I will do whatever it takes to make it right.

Dark red wraps over honey colored cane. Five chrome snake guides on the tip and one chrome stripper on the butt. Chrome step down ferrules. Reel seat is two toned down locking aluminum and chrome. The threaded barrel and nut are gold anodised aluminum and the sliding ring as well as the butt cap have a housing and they are bright chrome. The cork grip is 6 1/4" long and cigar shape. Approximately 1" in diameter. It has been cleaned and in very good condition. All new wraps. The word DIAMOND is printed in black ink inside an elongated triangle on the rod shaft about 2" above the hook keeper. No bag or tube.

Gold wraps over dark impregnated cane. Stainless steel stripping guide. Four dark tungston steel snakes on mid section, and 5 tungston snakes on tip sections. Dark perfection tip tops. No hook keeper. Tanite down locking reel seat with aluminum nut and chrome plated pocket sliding ring and pocket butt cap. All wraps, guides, and tip tops are new replacements to match originals. 6 1/2" cigar shaped cork grip.
New bag. Unoriginal case.

Chinese red wraps over dark cane. Red agatine stripping guide. Dark tungsten snake guides and perfection tip tops. All nickle silver, uplocking, screw-lock reel seat, both tips are replacements and restored to match originals. Original finish on butt and mid section. Comes with original labeled case with replacement top and original bag.

Scarlet red wraps over dark cane. Made by Heddon for Weber of Stevens Point Wisconsin. Ferrule size is 2. All nickel silver down locking "Hold Tite" reel seat. Nickel silver winding check and loose ring hook keeper. Nickel silver ferrules have rolled welt and males are swaged One English style dark bridged guide for stripper on butt section. Mid has four high helix dark tungsten steel snake guides and tip sections have four of these guides as well. 7 1/4" long over sized western style cork grip. All wraps and guides are replacements to match original. Varnish is as found with a few bag marks and rough areas.

Tan wraps with dark brown borders at guides and ferrules. Tan brown ornamental wraps above hook keeper. Gradual swelled butt. Cane has flamed appearance with dark patches. Reel seat is aluminum down locking with chrome plated lock nut and pocket butt cap with slot on back of barrel to guide locking nut and pocket ring. Nickel silver ferrules have machined welts on the female and males are swaged. All ferrules are pinned. Loose ring hook keeper. Finish is in good condition. Cork grip is a soiled mild full Wells 6" long. Comes with original case and bag.

Dark olive wraps on a typical charcoal colored blank. Ceramic stripper guides on butt section, chrome snake guides and ceramic tip top on tip section. The ferrule is on the butt section and fits over the bottom of the tip section. I guess one could call it but over tip. Black anodized aluminum screwlocking downlock reel seat. Cork grip is shaped like a Winston(half wells) and has been wrapped with white adhesive tape. Must have been wounded. Nice touch. No case, no bag and a no nonsense rod. Throw it in the rod rack in the pick up and it is ready for those emergency stops along the river. Fished hard and needs to be fished hard some more. Give it a new home.

Finish is flaking off of the rod shaft. Otherwise, the rod is ready to fish. Two piece. Comes with unoriginal bag and Shakespeare round cardboard tube with rubber on ends.

Black accents at ferrules and wraps. Cork is western style and soiled. Evidence of medallion on cork but now missing. Black anodised aluminum down locking reel seat with two locking nuts. Incsription on rod shaft reads Eagle Claw "Denco Super IV " No. DNFP225-8FT, (422cm.) Fly Rod Wright & McGillCo. Denver, Co. 80216 U.S.A. Line Size 7 The words SOLID NYLON FRAY PROOF GUIDE WRAPS inside picture of a fish wrapped around shaft. Rod is very little used. No tube or bag.

Black wraps with orange borders over red brownish blank. Western style cork grip (cleaned). Down locking reel seat consisting of bright chrome threaded barrel and loose ring with pocket and ring. Bright chrome pocket butt with typical black bakelite butt cap. Filler is black bakelite. One dark Perfection stripping guide and one dark Perfection snake guide on butt section. 7 dark Perfection snake guides on tip section along with a dark Perfection tip top. The ferrules are nickel silver truncated swiss style blackened.
The decal on the butt section just above the hook keeper is about one inch in length and in orange letters reads "Heddon Pal Back Beauty #75 -Trout-8'". The decal is 99% in tact. All the wraps are new as well as the snake guides and tip top. Comes in original black bag with orange trim and origial black tube with label that is 85% in tact. The tube has the funky top with the ring that when tightend expands a ruber ring and tightens the top.
