All items on this list come with a three(3) day inspection
period.
If, for any reason , you are not satisfied, please let me know as soon
as possible so I can make the item available to the next person. Return
the item in the condition it was received for a full refund (minus
shipping charges). All payments should be in U.S. funds, postal money
orders are preferred method of payment. Personal checks are acceptable,
but they must clear before item is shipped. All check and money orders
should be payable to Francis D. Lyons.
Shipping charges will be determined at time of order (to cover
actual costs only). Items will be shipped through U.S. Postal Service,
UPS or FedEx unless otherwise requested. All special shipping requests,
custom fees, tariffs.. etc. are the responsibility of the
buyer.
I make every effort to identify any defects and pass that
information on to the buyer. If a shortcoming does get past me or I
misrepresent an item, it is unintentional and I will do whatever it
takes to make it right.

downlocking screwlock reel seat with nickel silver pocket butt cap,
sliding ring with pocket and lock nut. . Reverse half wells cork
grip. Black metal first guide. Snake guides are
bronze
perfection. Dark machined nickel silver ferrules. Full
restoration with new snake guides to match originals. Stripping
guide is original. Cork grip has been cleaned. Comes with
original bag and case.

Dark red wraps over honey colored cane. Five chrome snake guides
on the tip and one chrome stripper on the butt. Chrome step down
ferrules. Reel seat is two toned down locking aluminum and
chrome. The threaded barrel and nut are gold anodised aluminum
and the sliding ring as well as the butt cap have a housing and they
are bright chrome. The cork grip is 6 1/4" long and cigar shape.
Approximately 1" in diameter. It has been cleaned and in
very good condition. All new wraps. The word DIAMOND is
printed in black ink inside an elongated triangle on the rod shaft
about 2" above the hook keeper. No bag or tube.

Cobalt blue wraps over dark cane with highlighted
nodes.
Five dark Perfection snake guides on the tip, one dark perfection
snake guide and one red agatine
stripping guide on the butt. Nickel silver ferrules.
Ferrule on butt section has a shoulder at the bottom.
Downlocking screwlock black plastic filler with silver
plated fittings. No hook keeper. Torpedo shaped bright
chrome winding check. Cork grip has been cleaned. New
guides and wraps have been installed and both sections have been rubbed
down and given a coat of spar varnish. H-I logo is 98% intacked.
Fish jumping over metalic gold diamond with red H-I in
center and UTICA N.Y. in small black letters below H-I.
Tonka Price in white script just to the right of the logo is 100%
intacked as well as the genuine tonkin cane decal on another flat near
the winding check. This decal is 85% intacked. Comes with
un-original bag and aluminum case.

Black and orange varigated wraps over dark cane. Bright nickel
silver ferrules, dark tungsten snake guides, bright chrome stripping
guide and round ring bright chrome tip tops. A invisible
repair wrap between the top snake guide and tip top on one tip section.
All new snake guides to match originals mounted by Dwight Lyons.
The existing guides rusted beyond recovery. This rod has
the black border wrap at the guides with one ornamental black wrap
1/16" away from the border wrap. Cork has been cleaned as well as
the reel seat. All nickel silver up locking reel seat.
The stamping on the reel seat
reads PAT. APR. 12, 1938 PAT. NO. 2114.107
MADE BY GOODWIN GRANGER COMPANY DENVER. Circa 1941.
Very vivid Granger Victory script on one shaft of
butt section. Varnish has been rubbed down and an overcoat of
spar varnish has been applied. Comes with original bag and
case .

that feels quite light in the hand. Lawn cast only.
Comes in 4 partitioned bag and aluminum tube with brass
fittings.

Bight chrome reverse snake guides and bright chrome strut
supported tip top with gray agate ring. Loose ring hook keeper
and bright anodised aluminum winding check. 6 9/16" long

wells cork grip that has been cleaned. 6 guides on the tip
section and 3 on the butt section. All wraps are original except
for those at the ferrules. Both ferrules have been re-set and new
double wraps installed. Black anodised aluminum down locking reel
seat with the light bulb threads. Single locking nut. Reel
seat is morticed. Most of the model name has flaked off but the
bag label says "Scottie" brand. Reel seat butt cap is
inscribed J.S.
SHARPE MAKER ABERDEEN. Comes with original labeled bag and
un-original case.

Dark olive wraps on a typical charcoal colored blank. Ceramic stripper
guides on butt section, chrome snake guides and ceramic tip top on tip
section. The ferrule is on the butt section and fits over the bottom of
the tip section. I guess one could call it but over tip. Black anodized
aluminum screwlocking downlock reel seat. Cork grip is shaped like a
Winston(half wells) and has been wrapped with white adhesive tape. Must
have been wounded. Nice touch. No case, no bag and a no nonsense rod.
Throw
it in the rod rack in the pick up and it is ready for those emergency
stops
along the river. Fished hard and needs to be fished hard some more.
Give
it a new home.

borders over red brownish blank. Western style cork grip
(cleaned). Down locking reel seat consisting of bright chrome
threaded barrel and loose ring with pocket and ring. Bright
chrome pocket butt with typical black bakelite butt cap. Filler
is black bakelite. One dark Perfection stripping guide and one
dark Perfection snake guide on butt section. 7 dark
Perfection
snake guides on tip section along with a dark Perfection tip top.
The ferrules are nickel silver truncated swiss style blackened.
The decal on the butt section just above the hook keeper
is about one inch in length and in orange letters reads
"Heddon Pal Back Beauty #75 -Trout-8'". The decal is 99% in tact.
All the wraps are new as well as the snake guides and tip top.
Comes in original black bag with orange trim and origial black
tube with label that is 85% in tact. The tube has the funky top
with the ring that when tightend expands a ruber ring and tightens the
top.

blank. Western style cork grip. Black anodised down locking
reel seat with rubber button below but cap. Phillipson nickel
silver step down ferrules indicating that this rod was made for Herters
by the Phillipson Rod Company in the 50s or 60s. Nice medium
action for a 5 wt line. Needs a little cleaning but otherwise
sound and ready to fish. No bag or tube.

aluminum body and black spool with red plastic handle. Operates
somehat like a Hardy Perfect but there are no ball bearings. The
body has an unusual configration of holes on the bottom to lesson the
weight. Big aluminum screw holdong spool on. Made so
one could use a dime to loosen the screw and remove the spool.
Not a reel smooth drag but functional. I have seen two of
these so it is not that common.
